New Year’s Greeting from the FJKM
« Hello. It is a joy to bring you New Year’s greetings from the FJKM church.
We give thanks to the Lord for bringing us all through 2021 into the new year.
While there are many things that are challenging, we give thanks that we serve a God who is faithful.
We appreciate what you have done to walk alongside us in 2021. Having brothers and sisters in Christ in the Presbyterian Church who pray for us and work with us means a great deal to us. We have been able to do many wonderful things together including helping the people in southern Madagascar who are suffering from hunger.
As the world suffers from another COVID wave, we ask for your prayers. We will not forget to pray for you. May we as the church be God’s light in these times when people despair.
We look forward to sharing with the Madagascar Mission Network on February 26th about FJKM’s vision for the next 4 years and about what we are doing in southern Madagascar. We hope that you can join us at that time.
We pray that these verses from Isaiah 43:1-2 may be true for you in this new year.
“1 But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
