CHAPEL DEDICATION AND HANDING OVER OF KEYS
TWO OF THE INFRASTRUCTURES FOR THE 50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FJKM
A service and the dedication of the Philadelphia Chapel at Ivato Theological College was held on Saturday, November 14, 2020. It was the Collaboration of the PROK- Presbyterian Church of South Korea and the FJKM church. Coinciding with this, the Committee presented the keys to a large building that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the FJKM. The end of the Jubilee year was in 2018 but the Committee was still finishing the work. Families of 75 Pastoral College students and family of Ivato Theological (K.T.I) now benefit from this infrastructure and .
The first floor has 8 rooms, the second, 20 rooms and the third floor is a large room measuring 51 by 12 meters. Construction work has been completed, the access to water and electricity is still the next step.
The Assistant President of the Headquarters Bureau, Pastor Mr. ZARAZAKA Jean Louis Pastor led the service and the FJKM President Dr Pastor Irako Andriamahazosoa Ammi, delivered the Words of God. The message was taken from Revelation 3: 7,9. Three main points emerge from these verses: Jesus is holding His church, trust Him. Jesus cares about His church, be careful. And Jesus loves His church, stand firm.
The FJKM liturgy for dedication was followed at that time. The service started at the entrance, then the cutting of the ribbon followed by the dedication of the stone tablet and it continued throughout the service.
A joyful meal prepared by the chairman of the committee ended the time in the main hall. The program was successfully completed despite the heavy rain with big hails.
